I AM a survivor, a creator, a leader, and a believer. Through my own personal suffering with Regenerative Disc Disease that resulted in a Spinal Cord Stimulator Implant and diagnosed with stage 2 Uterine Cancer was something I wasn't prepared for, it tested my strength, my faith, my woman hood and my relationship with God. To be honest it left me traumatized and confused because I thought being an obedient Christian woman that attended every church service and bible study was going to give me the golden ticket to salvation, but it wasn't. So I did what every believer does, seek God for answers but instead HE gave me a purpose and that purpose turned into a passion. A passion to find these stories, stories like mine because there's no secret or pass to gaining what we think we deserve. I was so focused on what I could gain from God rather than what I can DO for God. My prayer is that these stories will bring comfort to people who are in need, like me.
